What is NeuroKinetic Therapy® ? NeuroKinetic Therapy® corrective movement system, is a sophisticated assessment and treatment modality that addresses the causes of dysfunctional movement/coordination problems at their root in the motor control center in the cerebellum. The motor control center stores these patterns and directs their completion through the spinal cord and the muscles. The motor control center learns through failure.
NeuroKinetic Therapy is a powerful adjunct to your practice. NKT is both an assessment and treatment technique and utilizes manual muscle testing to assess if a muscle is firing properly by itself or in coordination with other muscles.
The NKT protocol allows the practitioner to address the motor control center in the cerebellum which coordinates and stores all movement programs. When a muscle test fails the motor control center is opened to new learning. The NKT protocol actually re-programs the dysfunctional routines stored in the motor control center. This allows you the practitioner to treat the cause of dysfunction instead of the symptoms. This use of manual muscle testing is combined with whatever release technique you already employ.
The NKT protocol allows you to become a true somatic detective.
If you are a massage therapist, physical therapist, or a chiropractor, NeuroKinetic Therapy® can be used as a manual therapy technique employing soft tissue mobilization. This technique allows you to become a somatic detective.
If you are a Pilates instructor or personal trainer, NeuroKinetic Therapy® corrective movement system can be used as an assessment technique, or you can use a foam roller or stretching as part of the release protocol. Understanding the underlying causes of dysfunctional movement patterns will allow you to help your clients use the equipment in a much more effective way.
The training to become a certified masseuse is aimed at those who want to learn how to give a relaxing, beneficial and professional classic Swedish massage. After the training, you can safely work as a masseuse. We have trained everything from new students, yoga teachers, personal trainers, preschool teachers and retirees. The training is suitable for all ages and professional groups, no prior knowledge is required. You can work as a masseuse full-time, have it as a side business or be able to give your loved ones a really good massage.
How is the training organized?
The training is every other weekend, which allows you to train while working full-time. The internship is always teacher-led and you get ”hands-on” help, a winning concept compared to online courses.
The training is interspersed with theory and practical elements. The course is divided into blocks, each block contains a body part, e.g. back. This has proven to be a good educational model, which many have appreciated. Which also makes it easier if you miss an educational opportunity or want to repeat that particular block another semester.
During the semester, you will provide student treatments with a focus on the blocks. You get to practice meeting real clients, the purpose of this is for you to become comfortable in your professional role.

Can I work as a masseuse directly after the training?
Yes! Because we put a lot of focus on the practical aspects, you will feel confident in being able to give professional treatments and also be able to charge for it.
Can I work abroad?
Swedish classical massage is a recognized form of massage, which makes it possible to work around the world.

Vem kan utbilda sig till diplomerad massör?
Utbildningen till diplomerad massör riktar sig till dig som vill lära sig att kunna ge en avslappnande, välgörande och professionell klassisk svensk massage. Efter utbildningen kan du med trygghet arbeta som massör. Vi har utbildat allt från nyblivna studenter, yogalärare, personliga tränare, förskolelärare och pensionärer. Utbildningen passar alla åldrar och yrkesgrupper, inga förkunskaper krävs. Du kan arbeta som massör på heltid, ha det som sidoverksamhet eller kunna ge dina nära och kära en riktigt bra massage.
Hur är utbildningen upplagd?
Utbildningen är varannan helg, vilket gör att du kan utbilda dig samtidigt som du arbetar heltid. Praktiken är alltid lärarledd och du får ”hands-on” hjälp, ett vinnande koncept jämfört med onlineutbildningar.
Utbildningen varvas med teori och praktiska moment. Kursen är uppdelad i block, varje block innehåller en kroppsdel, t.ex. rygg. Detta har visat sig vara en bra utbildningsmodell, som många har uppskattat. Vilket även underlättar om du skulle missa ett utbildningstillfälle eller vill repetera just det blocket en annan termin.
Under terminen kommer du ge elevbehandlingar med fokus på blocken. Du får träna på att träffa riktiga klienter, syftet med detta är att du ska bli bekväm i din yrkesroll.

Du lär dig om Gait, subsystem, kinetic chains, ortopediska tester, andning och avancerad muskeltestning.
Denna vidareutbildning ger dig som terapeut en djupare förståelse för varför smärta och stelhet uppkommer i kroppen och varför den kommer tillbaka om man inte behandlar den rätt.
